A Yoga & Embodiment Series for Late Summer

Attuning to Earth’s Rhythm. Honoring Inner Harvest. Pausing in the Lush Stillness of the Season.

Late summer is a threshold — a quiet, golden pause between the fullness of summer’s height and the descent into autumn’s inward turning. In this transitional space, we are invited to ground ourselves, to nourish body and spirit, and to tend the inner harvest of what we’ve been growing — within and without.

Rooted in the wisdom of the Earth element and inspired by the ancient Celtic festival of Lughnasa, this 4-week journey weaves together yoga, breathwork, gentle somatic movement, and meditation. Together, we will align our inner rhythms with the slow turning of the seasons.

Week 1- Celebrate Your Inner Harvest

We often think of “harvest” as something that comes with autumn’s turning, but in the Celtic Wheel of the Year, Lughnasa arrives on August 1st. It marks the first fruits of the harvest — a time to pause, sense, and honor the abundance already present in the earth, and within ourselves. Though the specific date may have passed, we can still access the wisdom anytime.

This week’s session invites you to come home to your body as a living landscape — to notice what feels full, what feels steady, and what has quietly ripened beneath the surface.

Week 2- Thresholds

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, late summer is associated with the Earth Element. It is the threshold, the transition or the bridge between the high, outward energy of summer and the quiet turning inward of autumn.

Through this week’s exploration of the Earth Element, we will attune to the pause — the breath between seasons — and root ourselves in the nourishment and steadiness of stillness.

Week 3- Balance

We will continue our exploration of the Earth Element with practices that bring balance to body and breath, offering steadiness and nourishment through times of change.

Week 4 - Axis

As we close this series, we turn inward toward the axis — the pivot point from which smooth transitions arise. With the support of Goldenrod as a guide, this week invites us to stand firmly in our true self, strengthening our inner backbone against external pressures.

Goldenrod, also known for opening the third eye chakra, encourages clarity, confidence, and the courage to trust ourselves, while creating space for deeper intuition and inner knowing.

“Heather resonates calm with her beautiful voice, energy, vibrant spirit and teaching style.

During restoration workshops Heather will often share intuitive song which  is the most beautiful sound bath. Her voice vibrates within me reducing my stress, releasing emotional blocks and connecting me with something higher  than myself. Her intuitive singing medicine is one of my favorite parts of her  special practices.

Its an honor to attend Heathers’ classes and I am abundantly grateful to her for helping me reach a deeper place of awareness and insight in my  practice. She is a gift to us all.”
